A break in the countryside
The terrace is located in a quiet spot, close to the forest of the Asbroekerheide. From here, you can easily continue your walk or bike ride into nature. Across the site, you’ll find a geocache for those who want to discover something extra along the way. This makes the Zorg-Terras not only a place to rest, but also a starting or finishing point of your route.
Taste and explore the farmyard
There’s more to experience during your visit than just the terrace. You can walk through the picking and vegetable garden or take a look at the animals. Fresh products from the garden are regularly available, such as vegetables, herbs and flowers. You will also find homemade products like jam and honey, perfect to take home or give as a gift. If you prefer a slower pace, you can also head out with a donkey and explore the surroundings in a different way.
Accommodation at Rondmeer
The Rondmeer terrace is part of Zorgboerderij Rondmeer, founded in 2009 by Frans and Helma Korten. Today, the location is run by Helma and her son Bas, together with a team of care professionals, supervisors and volunteers.
In addition to this location, several other places have been developed in the region. At Hoeve Twente, you will find a camper site, campsite and nature chalets in the countryside. At camper site Houbenhof in Leveroy, care and accommodation come together, with space for campers and a connection to the care farm.
’t Boshoes: groups and retreats
’t Boshoes is located nearby and offers space for small groups of up to ten people. The location is used as a holiday home, but also for retreats and team sessions, set in a quiet and green environment.
