Walking at the donkey’s pace
During the walk, you quickly notice how you adapt to the calm pace of the donkey. Isaak and Jacob are friendly and used to walking with people, so no experience is needed. Along the way, the donkeys like to stop now and then to nibble on grass or leaves, creating small pauses and a relaxed rhythm to the route.
Out together in nature
The route runs through the area around the zorgboerderij and is about 4.5 kilometres long. You can also shorten it if that suits you better. Along the way, there’s plenty of space to stop, for example for a picnic you bring yourself. For children, this is also a great way to be outdoors and enjoy time together.
Combine with a visit to the terrace
Before or after your walk, you can take a seat at the Rondmeer terrace for something to eat or drink, when it is open. This makes your visit a complete outing in nature.
Practical information
