Cultureel Lint Weert
On Sunday 20 September 2026, Weert’s city centre will once again come alive with art and culture. Cultureel Lint, the free culture festival in the heart of Weert, celebrates its 15th edition. Throughout the day, you can enjoy music, dance, theatre, literature and visual arts in unique locations across the city. Cultureel Lint is a vibrant celebration for everyone who loves culture.
A stage for talent
Cultureel Lint offers a stage for both professional artists and emerging talent from the region. From young creators to experienced ensembles – all share their passion and creativity with the audience. Expect surprising performances and inspiring shows in well-known and unexpected spots.
Performances in special places
The festival takes place at various indoor and outdoor locations in Weert's city centre, all within walking distance. Think of theatres, museums, libraries and squares. The atmosphere is open and welcoming, and all performances are free to attend.
A cultural collaboration
Cultureel Lint is an initiative of five cultural institutions in Weert: Munttheater, RICK, Muziekcentrum De Bosuil, Bibliocenter and Museum W. Together, they form the Cultureel Lint Foundation. Since 2011, they have joined forces to make culture visible, accessible and inviting for a broad audience.
Sustainable and nearby
Visitors and artists are encouraged to travel on foot, by bike or by public transport whenever possible. This keeps the festival both accessible and environmentally friendly.
