Bocholter Events
Bocholt, located in the Belgian province of Limburg, is a vibrant city with lots of events for both young and old. From traditional fairs and festivals to modern art exhibitions and music events, there is something for everyone in Bocholt. Throughout the year, there are several larger Bocholt events.
Sezoensrally & Tractor Show
Since 1976, the penultimate weekend of May has invariably been the time for the international 'Sezoensrally' in Bocholt. It's the only unpaved rally in Belgium. The 'Bocholter Tractor and Motor Show' also takes place every year in May. This well-known old-timer show lasts for two days and is complemented by demos of long-forgotten crafts and children's entertainment.
St Christopher's Pilgrimage
During the last Sunday in June, Limburg's oldest St Christopher's Pilgrimage takes place every year in Bocholt. The ideal time for road users to take a moment to reflect on their own driving behaviour, following the example of St Christopher, the patron saint of road users/travellers.
Festivities in Bocholt
February is Carnival, which is celebrated very intensively in Bocholt. And they also party in the first weekend of August. This is when Belgium's biggest beach party takes place: 'the Bocholter Beach Party'.
During the holidays
During the end-of-year period, there are several large atmospheric Christmas hikes and we would like to welcome you to Belgium's largest and most cosy indoor Christmas market.
